About us:
Sheen Hockey was established in November 2017, with the aim of making the sport more accessible to children who were either on waiting lists of another club or not taking part in the sport.
Our primary focus is to develop the technical ability of players, from as young as 5 years old, until they graduate at the end of Year 7, to play the game of field hockey.
Our junior development plan is designed to ensure the skills are taught at 3 stages: beginner, intermediate and advanced, based on age. We also help to develop good sportsmanship, by encouraging teamwork and participation on the sports field.
We currently offer training for children aged 5 -12 years and all our sessions are set up according to age & gender. The sessions take place on Saturday mornings at Richmond Park Academy in East Sheen.
We also offer Duke of Edinburgh bronze, silver and gold award volunteering.
Sheen Hockey is officially affiliated with England Hockey.
